Listings with high item sales.

As quantity sold of an item on a listing increases, does that attract more attention to the listing from ebay workers who may remove the listing. I am currently selling high risk items that could be removed so do not want the attention. However on the flip side the more it states I have sold the more interest I get from potential buys.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Impossible to know for sure but high sales volume on a single listing attracts attention and that is not always good. Much more likely to have a VERO take down on listings that seem like it costs other people money.

Welcome to the forums - all the best as you master stealth :thumb:

There is attention from eB AND attention from competitors to consider if you rely only on one account for high risk sales...

I'm thinking my way round this is to have 2 accounts alternating the sale of high risk items, giving the respective account a 'cool down period'. Rather than listing, delisting and relisting to keep a constant sales flow.

I alternate my high risk items between two accounts but every so often get 7 day suspension, my question does copyright lawyers have access to picture scanner on ebay or do they just search themselves.

Big company so would assume picture scans. I clean my images and haven't had problems so far.

Well I do not know what you mean by "clean", I take the pictures of my item with my digital camera? I changed name and that helped for awhile and then I got 30 day suspension. I am selling trademark items of a CRIMINAL organization. LOL go figure. I violate a trademark of criminals.

Not in an of itself.

Sell VERO and trademark goods, and yes, you'll probably have trouble at some point along the line.

More than just 2 from the way I see it...

I sell accounts so use generic pictures from google images, by cleaning them it ensures they won't be picked up by image scanning from ebay who will try match my pictures to other similar listings that have already been taken down for some violation.

If you're selling VERO you certainly have a lot of other issues to consider. Remeber that both EB and PayPal will always be keeping an eye on you. Don't turn your back and assume all is fine just because your sales are rocking on one or two accounts.

As others have posted here, you will need to definitely spread out the sales among several accounts. How many you need will depend on your overall sales volume and tolerance for risk.

This forum is all about stealth and operating more than one account. Better start now than procratinating. Being complacent will kill you.

Glad to see you are starting to pick up more accounts. Don't stop! Keep it up!
