How do guys with 50+ accounts do it? (wrt banks)

Every now and then I see posters talking about how they have 100 accounts, and I just wonder, do they have 100 unique bank accounts linked to each PP? I can understand getting maybe 30-40 simultaneously but it seems impossible to reach the levels these guys are doing.

Im assuming some accounts are left on the back burner and used infrequently, and they just let the PP balances accumulate with time until it becomes time to kickstart these accounts? Any input is appreciated

Not all the PayPal's actually have banks on them. Some of the "standby" accounts either just have a VBA it was setup with, or nothing until it's needed later. I use a "rotation" schedule to balance sales. Mind you, nowhere near 100 accounts, let alone 20.

It's possible to manage a very large number if you stay organized. In fact, many of the more senior members on this forum have do this quite well. Yes, it's real work and effort, don't think it's going to be a piece of cake.

I focus on a few and keep the rest of them on idle with occasional sales to keep them warmed up and ready to go instantly.

I only attach a bank at some point when I seriously intend to do real money.

Some of them I never attach a bank to, I just use them to purchase from suppliers.

Don't confuse "having" 100 accounts with "running" 100 accounts....those are 2 different things. I have a total of 15 accounts, I'm only "running" 3-4 at a time, that means I only have 4 bank accounts open. People tend to assume that because someone has a lot of accounts that they must have that many bank accounts, it doesn't work that way (unless you want it to).

There's also nothing wrong with aging a few at a time either. besides the 3-4 I'm currently working on......I have 3-4 (with no bank accounts) that I'm selling low-risk stuff that are not worth more than $5-10 each item......this is money that isn't going anywhere and is building up my ebay and paypal account at the same time.

A lot of my smaller accounts just get spent on ebay or through paypal. A lot of times I am buying with small balances or paying vendors or suppliers etc....

It is pretty easy to spend $1000-2000 a month from paypal if you get in a habit of always using it. If I can buy on ebay for the same price or so than say a local store or amazon, I am buying on ebay and using those funds. When I need an auto part or shipping supplies or a new toy of sorts or whatever, I often buy on ebay. If I am buying online I will chaeckout with paypal when possible.

That is for small accounts.

I have some accounts that just cover bills. For example I have an auto loan and I opened a checking account with the same bank. I hooked up that checking to a paypal and simply sell just enough to cover my month payment. I withdraw paypal to the checking account and pay that bill.

I have suppliers who will accept paypal and I will cashout the really small balances ever couple weeks.

If you are wondering about how to run them efficiently well I for one never use a digital book keeping. I always have all of my account info in a note book.

But the key is really to be disciplined. It's a lot of work to run over 30 accounts.
You get bored and you get tired and that's when you make mistakes.

Thanks everyone. That's what I figured... you breed the accounts and keep them on idle/bill paying purposes until you need them to become a daily driver, and that's when you attach the bank accounts. When they make that transition from backup to main account, I'm guessing that's when you start creating the new backups?

I was managing 20ish accounts until the holidays, and it is definitely exhausting. I stopped responding to customer messages altogether because I didn't have the energy... hopefully, I can improve my management skills for the next run.

I have over 1000 ebay/pp accounts......i let them age. So when paypal decides to kill my active paypal accounts....I dont have to start making new ones from there. I have about 700 ebay accounts made in 2016.

I have a big excel workbook to maintain all my information sitting in an encrypted hard drive. I had to get pretty creative with passwords so i downloaded a password generator back then when i was making the accounts.

I just pull some old ones that have already been made and start following the algorithm cycle.

what you want is many ebay/paypal accounts with varied transaction amounts from various vendors through the months/years. That will throw off all suspicion.
