Quick question!
 

Hi, I have been looking into buying an Ebay account as my previous account got suspended a while back. My mum has a very old account with 100% feedback she doesn't use anymore, am I right in thinking that if I used this the only thing I would need to do is open a new bank account and then link that to it to be able to use?

That depends, are there any similarities to your banned account? Same name, address? Same wifi? Same laptop? Etc

If so, they are linked. If you want to use the account you will need to follow all stealth procedure as outlined in the stealrh guide. That gives your best chance of success.

The address, name and wifi are all different from where I got banned from, her account has been up and running throughout that time, obviously I will keep all of her details the same other than changing her bank account to my new bank account and use a different laptop and ip address anyway, would that be alright do you think?

Thanks for the reply, would there be an issue with my changing her paypal to my name or wouldn't I have to give my name, just acc number and sort code?

Probably best not to change her Paypal to your name, as it makes no difference to receiving funds. Also it may increase risk of a link/detection in the future.

I'd leave the name as is, add acc number and sort code (fresh account) to the PayPal.

Treat the account as stealth, i.e. new user account, keep track of IPs etc.

More importantly - don't faff about with the name on the account. It can cause issues, needless to say a complete name change requires evidence to show your "mothers name has legally been changed".
