Zebra LP2844, Dymo 4XL both are good.

I have a ZP450, bought it used for around $125, been working flawless for 2-3 years now, before that had the LP2844, and it was a great unit as well. :)

I bought 144 rolls of 500 4x6 labels for the machine at Christmas, paid $130. Great buy, they're usually a bit more, but if you watch you can still find them for that.

Some people have success getting the labels from UPS for free, I've never been able to get that to work, though. Probably operator error on my part. :)

Thermal printers, such as those mentioned above don't require ink. The adhesive labels are sort of pre-inked. When heat is applied by the printer, text appears (to put it simply).

These printers are a lot more cost effective than inkjet printers (most of us used to use when we first started eBay). Need I say how much more efficient they are?

You won't regret buying one of these printers, whether your business is big or small.

Agree with Play, the only cost is the labels and those can be purchased super cheap.

Dymo printers do need cleaning or will jam. Brother full size printers with half page labels is a good option. And I would guess the most commonly used based on my own purchases and labels on the boxes

I use zp450 and zp500, both good printers with no issues for the last 3-4 years! Can find some cheap ones on ebay. Also getting free labels from UPS still works!
