Yes. It'll increase your sales a tiny little bit.
On the other side, consider the psychology of the 'hurried buyer'.
It increases buyer expectations many times over, increases your workload by requiring the package be posted within minutes of purchase ( even if it was bought at midnight on Christmas day), and gives you increased access to all the last minute, desperate, whacko buyers who will be screaming that the product was 'supposed to be there within 24 hours!'.
For extra fun just add the 'guaranteed arrival date' option, and you'll have the extra fun of giving both the item and the shipping away for free if the shipping provider doesn't meet whatever crazy promise EB makes on your behalf!
