Where are discussions on the flaws in how Ebay generates HTML, browser compatibility

Being annoyed here with how Ebay generates code.
Like a lot of people, I have thousands of listings that have been revised in tiny aspects for years, and then automatically relisted.

Just made a massive change, manually ('cause we all know how flawed eBay search and replace is). All looked good in Chrome in the eBay listing preview window. However, when the updated listing goes live, there are a lot of bugs.
For example, Chrome might duplicate the newly added part 2x, whereas Firefox can not show it at all.

Looking at the code afterwards, and I can see a couple of hundred <font style="font-family:Arial" size="4"><font style="font-family:Arial" size="4"> etc statements repeating hundreds of times. These get repeated, along with closing font tags. Usually when there's a line-break. :doh: Not a surprise then that "bad practices" on Ebays part produce bad results and bad browser compatibility.

Managed to do this on a couple of hundred listings, which took me all day. Now I guess I will have to spend at least a day to clean it up :ranger: (like I said before, search and replace is a ****ty tool anyway).

Are there any ebay forums out here that go into this in depth (IE the reason why the wysiwyg editor produces ****ty code)? Or is there perhaps some code cleanup tool that can handle this automatically?

Flippin' outrageous that Ebay can't even produce decent results on 2 different browsers.

@MM78
I do not want to. I want to use all the features and whistles and bells available to me in order to increase my conversions from eyeball to sale, as people have been doing since the flippin' nineties.
"OMG" *facepalm*
