Strange Linkage
 

Something really interesting happened the other day. I created an Ebay account and got linked to another one. Not to an old account of mine but to an old account of somebody else.

Now the first thing I had in mind was the IP, as I got a dedicated IP from purevpn (YOU IDIOT, THEY REUSE THEIR IP's you'll say... I know).

When I asked Ebay, they replied, that the link was due to financial Information.

So I checked the VCC I used and figured that's not possible, because I used a real credit card of mine, which I just got in the mail the other day.

So, assuming ebay way lying about the cause or the linkage I checked the account that I was linked with. It was registered last year in US (and banned ofc). Now I registered the account in Germany and used a dedicated GERMAN IP from purevpn. So here is the brain****. Even if these purevpn villains reuse IP's, the other guy would have had to use a German IP for his US account.

What do you guys think? Is there anything i oversaw in this scenario that could get the accounts linked aside from the IP?

How did you get other account information, once eBay linked they don't share any info
