Default First Sale. Is it worth including real details in the package?

I started selling again and I stated that I do not receive returns.
I just sold my first item so I was wondering, is it worth including in the package a piece of paper where I write "Please if you have any problem, contact us first to this email address....in case of return ship to this address (my real address)..."
(Can the seller be a bad person and tell ebay about my real details?/or use it against me if I do not accept returns)

Also, in the back of the package, do I write my real name/address?

And the feedback? Give it to them right away after receiving payment, or wait for their reaction after receiving the item?

Your experience and wisdom is much appreciated.

I'm trying to be extra safe this time.

cheers

I think you mean buyer ‘be a bad person and tell ebay’

The reply is Yes.

sellers decide no returns. Ebay ignores that to look after what the buyer wants.

Good luck with that one.

I think you'll find if the buyer wants to return it, you'll be taking returns whether you want to or not.

Do NOT put your real name on the package.

I leave feedback as soon as the order is processed. Buyer feedback means nothing and it won't prevent you getting a neutral or negative if the buyer doesn't like the item.

If you want to put a note in the package then just put a little note asking them to contact you via eBay messages for any issues and then hope that people actually pay attention to it

I receive tons of those when I buy from ebay or amazon..

What if Royal Mail or My Hermes ask my name/address when I'm buying the shipping? Put details of the stealth?

From what you say I should be losing the item if I get a return. Right?

Would you put your real details in the back of the package? or rather put the stealth ones/or nothing at all? And when filling Royal Mail/My Hermes forms?

And even if the buyer contacts you privately? Would you give them your return details in that case? Or just refund and lose the item?

I would put in none at all

Very very rarely does an item actually go missing in the Royal Mail. It does happen, but its an exception for that to happen

If you want to accept returns then I would just post them a prepaid postal label for them to pop the item in to return it to you or arrange for the item to be collected.

It really depends on if that is economical to do or not though

I mean, when you fill your forms online, Royal Mail asks for sender details. Would you write your real details or put the stealth ones..

Where exactly did I say that????

All I said was that you'd be best not to put you real name on anything. Royal Mail will still send stuff to you so long as the address is correct.

If you are planning on getting a lot of returns then you should be looking into getting something like a mail forwarding address.

You use stealth info.

Only a bank account in real info needs to go near a stealth account.
