Questions about 2 accounts that didn't follow stealth
 

Hi!
I've been eBaying for a while and before I stumbled upon the stealth world, I made 2 accounts which only one was successful. With that being said, I did not exactly follow any stealth procedures.

Here is my situation:

Account A is linked to my mom’s Social
Account B is linked to my Social

Both were operated by me, same laptop, same WiFi, everything.

Account A is doing very well, way over 20k a year, my main source of income actually.
Account B is right below seller standard and just broke 20k and I was taxed this year. I wanted to use Account B's Social as well and just go way over 20k and maximize profits.
But since I did not follow stealth procedures, both of these accounts have been operating under the same browser, wifi laptop, address, etc, probably not the best idea.

I also keep getting the “which eBay user account is this associated with?” message with Account B

Questions:
- Should I just avoid using Account B altogether because eBay may just decide to ban both accounts if they’re doing too many sales (even if I’m paying taxes)?

- Or should I get Account B to good selling standard and avoid using altogether?

- I was also reading that if 1/2 of the linked accounts are below standard or in bad seller standing, then both accounts may get banned?


Any insight would be great! Thanks so much!
PS: I am also building up multiple stealth accounts for the future and learned from my mistakes.

Seriously? I don't even know where to start, there are so many problems listed in this story I don't even know where to start.

Short answer: You're screwed. And you torched both SSN's forever.

You have to pay taxes whether you earn $1,000 or 20K. The total is irrelevant.

The ban will be because you're below standard on one of them, and they're linked.

eBay may just decide to ban both accounts...(even if I’m paying taxes)? EB doesn't care if you pay your taxes.

I think these two accounts are the walking dead. You can keep selling on them, but make sure your PP doesn't have much of a balance because they're going to end up limited, and put your efforts on the other new accounts.

My advice would be:

#1 Get B into above standard status (even if it means going for a lot of sales at a loss)
#2 Either get an LLC for A or move sales from A to B so that it is not in your mom's name
#3 Diversify into your new accounts ASAP

eBay should not ban you just for having 2 accounts from the same computer if neither is below standard and they have different real SSNs. If one goes below standard that is a whole different story.

As you noted in #1, one is ALREADY below standard.

There’s still a chance to get it above standard. I have about 2 weeks left. I’m already on it.

I’ll turn both into LLC’s, that seems like the only way to salvage both accounts at this point.

Any other advise that could help me would be great. Just very worried because this is my only source of income right now.

Turning them into LLC's won't help in any way. Wasted time.

They keep the SSN's forever. And they're still linked. Forever. Nothing can undo that.

Do you think my best chance is to just get account B to above standard and transfer sales from A to B and stop using A once that has been achieved?

Both are linked and are in real info. Both are making big sales.

Learn stealth and begin rotating to new unlinked accounts.

Mom knows about you using her social on Account A and reporting taxes, right?

Yes of course,
So if it came down to it, she’d talk to PayPal for me and say it’s her account. But then we all know a ban is a ban.

I guess just keep my fingers crossed and see how far these accounts go while I’m rotating to my stealths.

Yeah, move sales to the stealths, the clock is most likely ticking on these accounts.

If they survive that's great, but you have at least 2 of 3 strikes so far.
