Reached 10 listing on ebay, they ask me to call them to sell more
 

Apparently I've reached my initial 10 listings on ebay and I can't list any more, although it says that I can list other 100 and pay the listing fee only if I sell. When I was completing my listing to start doing this, I was asked to contact ebay, be in touch with one of their agents, to discuss my selling plans.
I basically have to call them.
What do you suggest? Can they recognise my voice through their very powerful softwares? lol...They record their calls, and I called them in the past with my previous account.

They can't recognize your voice. Hell, male sellers on here. even call in on FEMALE accounts.

So I'm forced to call them. There's no other way out.

I just have to remember all my stealth details.

Did you hit your selling limit?

It sounds like you did. It's quiet common for you to be advertised a promotion which gives you more "free listings" than you're allowed to list with your selling limits.

So if I call them I will get those right?

That is just 100 free listings. That doesn't take into account your selling limits

Phoning is fine :)

You may do, but that isn't a guarantee. Usually its lower. I would expect 30/40 items

It could well be higher though

Also, I need to call them with the mobile number of the stealth, right?
I was close to call them with my main number, linked to my main account.
Unless I can make my number anonymous.
Any advice on that?

Any number is fine so long as its either hidden or never been used on eBay or PayPal before

It says right in the promo your selling limits may prevent you from using all the free listings.

Not that long ago they would give a million free listings, which was completely pointless.

I called (hiding my number) and apparently I'm not eligible for more listings. I have to wait next month for other 10.

How long will I keep 10 per month?

When will I start getting a bit more?

If you sell up to your limit each month and do a good job staying on top of customer service, you can expect to start seeing natural limit increases after the first month or two of selling.

Then you just repeat the process until you have a selling limit high enough to sustain yourself.

I had this last week. Exact message when clicking on “request higher selling limits” was “as a business seller we’d like to talk to discuss your goals”. Odd as I’m not registered as a business user

I just contacted them through live chat instead and selected selling limits as the reason for contacting. eBay rep just asked what I was planning on selling and then raised my limit to 100 items.

Whole thing took about 7-8 minutes.

ETA: account was only 33 days old when I called and only had 4 feedback from buyers

Yeah...I guess my account is even younger...so next month maybe I will be able to have more listings..
