do I really have a 2 billion limit account?
 

I recently created an eBay account and can see that my listing limit is 2 billion/2 billion.

The problem is when I list 100 items, I get this message.

Does this mean I am subjected to normal limits like everyone else? Or will my limits go to 2B after 30 days?

Is it a good idea to call in or should I just wait?

Looks that way......I have a 5/500 right now I'm working on, should be no time before I get it to 2Billion.

There are two types of limits; those visible internal to eBay, and those you see in your seller portal. I have also encountered limits what I could list in a category, or a lower number of items in another even though it was well within my visible limits.
Category limits are quite common.

Yes you have a 2B/2B limit. I've never seen anywhere near that high on a Canadian account but astronomical limits like that are common on US accounts.

Bad news is you'll probably have to call in if you ever want to sell more than 100 items in a month. I've seen category limits and this isn't them. I doubt the message will go away on its own. Just call them. It won't be hard. They ask stuff like this:

Do you stock your own inventory?
Do you plan to grow or stay your current size?
Are you having any problems getting orders out on time?

After you make the call you'll essentially have an unlimited account.

BTW - edit out your email next time. Do it now if you can. I'm assuming that's the email used for your golden account.

Congrats man. You're officially a good account creator. I have a 10B account but it took me a year to get limits that high. No idea how you're making them from the get go lol.

I doubt you'd be able to get much more than $300 (USD) if you're trying to sell them regularly for a living. There just aren't enough super high volume sellers looking for stealth accounts for you to charge more. Supply and demand and whatnot.

I'm not an account seller though so take it with a grain of salt.
