Shipping from UK question
 

Hello,

I bought something from ebay more than 1month ago but haven't received it yet. The seller (from UK) didn't register the parcel but he assures me that the parcel has arrived in my country a few weeks ago coz that's what his post office says. He said that there's no tracking number and just gave me a copy of the postage receipt. I went to the customs department in my country and they said that there's supposed to be a tracking number eventhough the parcel isn't registered. I told them more than 3 times that the seller says that there's no tracking number because the parcel wasn't registered but they told me that eventhough the parcel wasn't registered there's supposed to be a tracking number. They said that if i don't provide the tracking number they can't do anything.

I just don't know who to believe now. Is is true that a packet sent through Royal Mail as an "international airmail small packet" has a tracking number eventhough the parcel isn't registered?

I believe that every international package must have a tracking or confirmation number. If it has taken this long, I would do a dispute right away.

definately dispute it if seller was supposed to have tracking/signed for service on listing.

If seller didnt buy tracking or signed for, there is no way he knows where the hell it is, not possible.
