Changing eBay address without issues?

So I know that if you change your stealth registration address, you run the major risk of getting restricted. But what about the other types?

Eg your "Ship From" or "Return address". Do you run the same risk changing these details as well? Name would still be the same.

I'm noticing that some buyers are entering invalid addresses at checkout, so when it ships to them, it gets returned back to the stealth address. Considering making the Ship from or Return address a PO box (Which I would have to purchase)

Conversely, if you upgrade to a biz account, does that lessen the risk of address changes? Seeing as how personal and business addresses are often different anyway

Please excuse me, I am not sure of the basic question, kirkie.

You can change address. Paypal accepts the following

People move residence.

Businesses move places of business and places like a warehouse.

Hope my reply is not too muddled.

:coffee:

PS, avoid phake checkout addresses. THAT causes paypal checks.

Just quick clarification kirkland - these invalid addresses...are the items of substantial value being shipped to them (or attempted to)?

Not huge value. 25-$30 range. Why do you ask?

Haha kirkie, I like that. No, no ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addresses!

Let me try to rephrase. There are a few different types of addresses you can have on eBay. Registered addresses, Ship from address, return address.

I've often seen forum vets advise against changing the registered addresses on eB, since that may trigger the bots to do slap a restriction on you. Do you disagree with that? Account is < 90 days

The reason I care is because sometimes the packages I am shipping out get returned to sender, and I would like the return address to be under my control.

So my question was: If you change the "Ship From" or "Return address", do you still run the same risk of a bot review on the account? Or is it smaller

Usually any address changes can trigger something.
How about you give a label to the buyer instead so all they need to do is print it?
