Can the main e-mail address be changed?
 
I want to change the e-mail account associated with my main Ebay account.


Is that possible? Have anyone of you guys done it before?

I have done this on multiple accounts and have not had a problem.

What's the safest way to do this? Calling Ebay maybe?

Not an option I use.

ebay lets users change details.

Email address change is allowed.

But, if you feel more comfortable calling in, then you decide.

I have to do this on one account because I lost access to the email address. You do it right in your profile.

go to the account tab in ebay
personal information
then you will see the option to change

Add the new email then make it primary. Don't delete the old one until later.

No issue in doing this, go in to your details and change it. People change/lose access to emails all the time, its perfectly normal.
