I tried a new vendor off DHGate and now it's stuck at customs.
 

Hey, I just bought some bulk unbranded basketball jerseys from DHGate. And i'm new to the game so I went all in and got a bulk order. Now its at customs. Does that mean something bad happened? Usually, I've gotten product and its not branded or I take off the brand symbols manually so that I don't get any copyright issues and sell them.

Need to see the latest tracking results to give you an accurate answer.

"Shipment on hold - contact DHL" - this means kiss your shipment goodbye because it's been seized

"Customs status updated" - this just means your shipment has come into the USA and has been given a preliminary release by customs

"Shipment on hold" - (without "contact DHL") - this means your shipment missed it's plane and will start moving again on the next business day

Unbranded in the sense they are blank..or unbranded in that they are NBA player jerseys without the Nike logo? Because if it's the latter - doesn't matter if the nike logo is missing. Are you removing all the other logos, like the team logos? Kinda makes the jersey pointless...and all that is subject to trademark and copyright.

Google "⊗⊗⊗⊗ basketball jerseys arrest" and read up on what happens.

It's not my business but I would strongly suggest staying away from items such as jerseys. There's just no way to build a successful long-term eBay business by selling foo-foos like that.

Like the poster above stated, you also expose yourself to both criminal and civil liabilities if you continue to receive such shipments.

Don't do it. Just find something else to sell. There are millions of other products you can sell with minimal or no risk at all.
