Talk to an accountant. Not sure why you were charging sales tax in the first place as a non-US citizen. What state were you giving your sales tax revenue to?

It doesn't sound like you had any legal reason to collect sales tax, so I don't recommend you collect sales tax on your new account. 100% of sales tax revenue is supposed to be turned over to whatever state your business is registered in.

I understand. But you aren't supposed to charge sales tax just so you can get a little extra money from each sale. All of the funds you collect for sales tax are supposed to be turned over to the state you pay sales tax to.

Since you aren't in the US I don't know what the legal implications for illegally collecting sales tax would be. Regardless though I don't recommend you collect any more sales tax unless you intend to actually pay sales tax to a state.

This site is about getting back on ebay/paypal/amazon/etsy/etc....it is not about ripping buyers off. Most of us absolutely hate scamming buyers. That also means we hate scamming sellers.
