I have a stocker emailing me for months now help!
 

I have this sicko emailing me five times a day for months now asking to be unblocked on my listings. He's stolen from me in the past...The way Ebay claims to block emails doesn't work. Does anyone have a way to block this guy?

Are these actual emails or messages via eBay's messaging system?
Have you tried reporting it?

ebay messaging, I blocked ebay name and blocked email from previous paypal email when (buying from me) and blocked that long email address when seen in my personal email box example: @ebay.com that one. nothing.

There is a setting (check box) you have to select in your settings as follows:

Go to my ebay, account,site preferences,selling preferences,buyer requirements, edit, then scroll down and select the box that says "Don't allow blocked buyers to contact me. (Buyer will not see the "Contact Seller" button on your Q&A page.)

Seems more crazies are coming out of the woodwork lately. I was just dealing with a guy yesterday flipping out that I refused to sell to him and he's going to complain to eBay about it...

Hello, just trying to better understand. What other reason would there be to not accept a purchase other than maybe their low rating?

There is a setting that when someone is blocked, you cant receive communications with them once 30 days has come up from the date of last transaction.

You can block messages with your 'buyer block list', one of the options is something like 'refuse all further communications from this buyer'.

But it's on your buyer block list, you have to find it there. :)

It's on the "buyer requirement" page not the BBL page.

I think I found what works ONLY if the the jerk hasn't messaged you on your NEW listings. Or do this BEFORE you list new ones if possible.
This is just a guess because they stopped messaging me. They come back a week or so to start it all over again though we will see.
In block list:
Ebay name,

paypal email if they stole from you before (helps with other ebay names they have)

Get that long email you see in your regular email acct for this jerk enter it all as above in your blocked list (this may be the clincher)

^^That's a cool tidbit about emails. I wasn't aware you could put anything other than eBay usernames on the BBL until reading your post and cross-checking eBay just now.

Hi JamesNorth101, I probably should have made a different thread. But I should have been more clear with the question. When I asked: "What other reasons would there be to not accept a purchase from a new buyer ...... when stating 'other' I meant what other as in different reasons other than what had already been cited by the OP.

However thank you for being responsive. I myself haven't yet begun selling, been helping a senior friend of mine get set up . . .and its been very unsuccessful & at a standstill.
