inquiry about Samsung items.
 

I got in touch with a Samsung supplier who is based in Poland. They are a registered company and everything does seem to be legit.

I read stories about Samsung taking down Amazon sellers down even though everything was legit about their products.


What's your experience? Are Samsung products a no-no with respect to Vero or not?

Are you literally starting from the top of the "can I get sued" list, when looking for things to sell?

Not at all. That's why I came here to ask before I get any samples for the product.

Not as risky as Apple only because Samsung doesn't seem to monitor marketplaces as closely, but still a very risky brand with no profit margins on the lower end.

I recommend you get a sample and compare serial's before committing to anything.

Well, I have been googling about Vero take downs because of Samsung products and no entries in that regard except for a famous case with Amazon sellers who got mistakenly booted down by an IP lawyer based in San Francisco. Also the article mentioned this e-mail: samsung@enforcements.markmonitor.com, a quick Google search also doesn't bring up much results for that e-mail as well.


The thing is, I got a sample from a Polish supplier the other day and I couldn't really tell if the item was a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or original. The only indicator that would give me the hunch about its legitimacy is the price. I asked if they have sourced their products from legit Samsung suppliers and the answer was a resounding yes. They also offer to supply invoices...etc, but you know, if the item itself can be ⊗⊗⊗⊗d then the invoices are a piece of cake.

Markmonitor works with Samsung and many other well known brands
Well it's quite hard to findout Samsung items if it's real or phake

Only way to findout take that sample to Samsung shop and and them to check

As phaz0rz no profit in these anyway so why taking risk ?

Never take the suppliers word for it. Do you really expect them to tell you it's phake?

Samsung makes a ton of stuff but I assumed you were talking about accessories when I read your OP since you've dealt in that category before. If that's the case, it's easy to tell if it's real. Unique serial numbers on multiple chargers = real, copied serials across many chargers = not real.
