Is it possible to check other seller's monthly sales?
 

Always been wondering. Some say terapeak but I could only look up my own sales LOL

I like how Amazon keeps such info more vague than Ebay does. I don't want any other seller looking my statistics up and you should too.

No way really to tell any more on EB.

On ETY if the seller hasn't blocked the feature, you can manually tabulate sales, but these days most people block that.

Closest thing you could see is if the seller leaves sales info "on" when buyer leaves feedback - then you could track amounts based on feedback.

Not ideal and likely to miss sales when feedback not left, but it could do the trick for you OP...

You could also look at the listed date of items and estimate sales manually and look at the webpage to see the refresh time. Google Cache too.

Good till cancelled listings generally have sales history. It is exactly why I never use them. They attract far-and-away to much attention.

It's possible.
You look into the seller completed listings.
It's all there.
You have to spend a LOT of time accumulating the data.

I've got some code that does this.
ebay terms and conditions say you are not allowed to write code that gives this as a service. So I can't give that to joe public. It runs from a server.

But, I'm going to code a python version of the same tool. Then it will be run from your own PC. So not the same as a service. That's just still an idea right now haven't done anything.

Can't you just look at sold listings ? Am I missing something here ? It's super easy

There's an app you can sign up for that shows you that. But it'll cost you $250 to start and $50/mo after that.

Wouldn't it be cheaper if you look at your competitor's sold listings?

What's the app called?
If the seller is selling 5 items - then it will take you a few minutes to precisely work out what they are making.
If you want to perform in depth analysis of a big seller, then this will take you a whole day (at least a few hours) putting together the data.

I think must be vero. But then you see some sellers with a 3 rubbish listings having sold 1000's! (They all get shut down in the end - BUT... worth it if you can clock up 5000 sales!?)

Just use a terrapeak or w/e its called trial, very good trial and allows you insights on your products or whatever product you're interested in.

I just used completed listings. Sure, it only goes back 15 days in EB, but there are tools that can pull the completed sales listings going back 60 or 90 days.

This can be done as stated here. You can put it together as you gather data. I have a method that works for tracking my competitors but I also know EXACTLY what my competitors are SELLING and proximity of where they live (IMPORTANT).
Use the LEFT HAND SIDE OF EBAY You will see CATEGORIES then select within 100 miles (or where you think they live) and it will show you items listed and you can choose sold items if you like.
I am tracking at least 6 or 7 of my closest competitors and believe me its valuable information when buying to resell. I can tell you how much my $$ competitor made or lost last week :) Hope that helps you all.
Remember for this to work you must know exactly what they are selling and area in which they live for you to have enough info for proper success.

Terapeak will give you this info but remember EBAY NOW OWNS TERAPEAK and if you are using the app they can track everything you are doing. Something to consider. Better to be paranoid about ebay than get suspended.

I forgot what the app is called, I'll need to check it out myself too.
But I've just been using the sold completed listing option and do the math manually to save me the $50/mo
