Selling History

If you click on a seller's list of selling items and you click on sold items it will show your some items sold and the date, is there a way of telling if that is everything he sold or is that view just random

That is everything they sold . usually sorted by date by default, if not switch to sort by date and you can view their sales up to a point.

thank you - that is what I thought, but this seller has weird gaps of a few days where he did not sell anything or it says he only sold 1 item, when he has at least 5-8 hot selling items at a time

his listings seem to have disappeared though from the front page ( still active ), is it likely he's suspended/vero strike?

When you click on sold items you will see items being sold in past 90 days.

For these gaps you can click on completed listings, it is possible the seller ended few listings.

If you see the item on the list, but no listing when you click to view it, that usually means the item was removed. Removal either by way of VeRO, eBay T&S, or their Bot.
