I know there are alot of people selling the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ makeup..
it contains poisons bacteria and lots of other horrible stuff..

I'm willing to bet it's been causing problems for years. Our liver has to process everything our skin comes into contact with.(along with what we eat and drink)

What about the people selling counterfeit auto parts that break in use and cause a family of four to crash on the interstate?

I agree ⊗⊗⊗⊗up is bad but I think it's far from the worst thing going on right now.

Note to buyers : Don't buy a $50 palette for $9 - IT'S NEVER REAL.

I'll never buy motorcycle safety gear off eBay for that reason. Even if they're sold by a licensed and reputable seller (many times, they are), I just don't want to take that chance.

They usually try to pass off the colors or design based on a well known brand. The Makeup industry is very particular with this sort of thing. Even trash bag people like the Kardashians have tried to steal colors and palette set designs from others and got sued.

That pic was taken directly from a DHgate supplier.

DHgate suppliers intentionally leave off trademarked logos/brand names in their listing photos to keep their listings from being VERO'd. They will tell you to message them for real photos, just like any other category of counterfeit merchandise.

EDIT: notice how all 6 palettes are opened so you can't see the front?

What if someone buys those but specifically requests that no logo should be present. It wouldn't be a phake anymore, would it?

The reason I ask is that I recently saw a video on YT, where a girl says she private labeled some type of eye lash and sells it for big $ on Amazon.

Yep, that’s exactly it.

Those companies get super upset if a palette is too similar to one of theirs. Color names, styling, etc is also a huge issue. Nail Polish is cut throat with color names...

What about Apple chargers, cables, watch bands, etc that people are selling as "generic" when they look identical to Apple products, just without a logo? I see a truckload of those on eBay these days.

Unless they have licensing it’s illegal to make knockoff accessories. You can make add-on products for Apple without licensing but there’s specific ways to do this that they note on their website and TOS. I have linked and discussed this before on here somewhere. I’d have to look for the post.

It's one thing to sell generic products. It's another thing to sell phakes.

I think it's an overstatement to say all phake products will contain bacteria and horrible stuff, although certainly some may.

If you knew what was in makeup, particularly lipstick, you wouldn't be surprised at the 'animal... human... waste...' article. One of the primary components of lipstick is made from hamburger grease and used fryer oil from fast food places.

When I was a teen working at one of the big hamburger chains, my job was to pour all the grease and oil residue into a huge barrel by the dumpster in the back of the store for later pickup, when the sun heated the oil during the day you could see a layer of huge roaches and bugs and even small animals on the bottom of the drum 6-8 inches thick! They climbed in to get an easy meal, and bam! Labrae tar pits all over again.

Think about THAT before you spread that lipstick on your lips, ladies!
