Randomize your image names.

Recently had my main go down with mc011, sold too much. Only had 1 stealth go down with it, was lazy and could have been avoided. The only similiarities were listing descriptions were both very lazy on both accounts, sold similiar items, didnt use custom templates for my descriptions like i have on other accounts, so i believe there was a link here. I also used same background in a couple of listings. But also image name may be something to look into, my phone sequentially names every image so it would be easy to tell pictures coming from same source. this file randomizes every file in the directory and is painless to use.

How old was your main account?

Re: Randomize your image names.

not my old 2008 ebay but one with my legit details. it was 6 months old, but went down for many of other reasons as well, didnt use the best methods when making, created a second paypal under my real details with new address where i moved on ebay and paypal. paypal got linked to old paypal when i got a 10% rolling reserve, and then shortly after a mc011 on new ebay, coincdental, possibly, but I doubt it.

Re: Randomize your image names.

Did you remove the EXIF data on your images for those accounts before you uploaded them on your listings?

I use Batchpurifier Lite and it does a good job of cleaning that data to avoid any potential linking. Aside from that, you need to follow the basic techniques in the Stealth Guide as well. Being lazy & sloppy is no way to burn your accounts up- MC011 means you're likely toast.

Probably not image backgrounds, that's probably the least likely way to get linked. Probably some other bad habit...

I had accounts go down like that. Was using same images from iphone from older accounts. I had no idea before I read the stealthbook. Now I know better.

Re: Randomize your image names.

That would have been caused by the metadata, which is much easier to compare than the background or the actual photo, which can be done, but which uses a lot more computational power.

How did you operate these 2 accounts? Did you follow the stealth guide or did you just use same IP / Browser / User account, etc?

Getting MC011 just from the images is a little rare in my opinion, it has to be more than just this.

Re: Randomize your image names.

I use virtual machines tied to vps ssh tunneling, all new addresses, all new everything. Only had 3 accounts go down from first batch of 20 from 6 months ago, one was this one the other two werent patient enough, none were linked except these two for some reason. The only thing i can think that would link these two were image name, image background( i used wood background on these accounts), similiar item category, and the image name, only four possibilties, im sure it was a combo of all of the above since the ebay rep said there was a strong link.

My samsung s8 names pictures based off date and time, in sequential order.

small piece of mind randomizing the image name in the future as i predict ebay will tigthen up with adyen coming around the corner and will need to update their security since it will be the main payment processor for all of ebay.

Re: Randomize your image names.

You can randomize the imagine name by going into the picture's 'properties' and changing it. That's easy enough.

If you're worried about the background don't use the same one. I used to have like 20 sheets I picked up at the goodwill for a $1 each, and rotated backgrounds color coded to the account.
