Just throwing it out there that I've been using Ally successfully for a year or so, if anyone has a reason I shouldn't, I would love to hear it.
Also using wells fargo, now they're a huge pain in the neck because the closest branch is like 9 hours away and they want me to go in for this and that.
Are you running stealth with Ally (mismatching names?)
I have seen a fair number of people running into issues with Ally in the past, both on this forum and elsewhere. There's a possibility they may scrutinize newer accounts more.
As far as Wells Fargo, myself and many others on their board use them with zero problems. In fact it's my favorite bank when it comes to stealth. Maybe because I have a significant established business relationship with them and move a bit of money around as well.
I've heard Ally has been a no-go for years, but I've heard that about Cap One and I've got 8 Cap One accounts tied to PP's, four of which are in use nearly every week.
I think this largely depends on how close your PP name is to the name on the bank account.

Sorry, I missed this post.
Yes, all stealth. I used Ally to link after 180days hold on older accounts and cash out when the account was worth it.
Ally is not good for Stealth. I just got the infamous PP photo id, invoice, address limitation and funds hold. I phoned PP who says its because Ally is not an approved bank. Unless I upload a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ id, and phony bank statement my money is toast. Wish i did more research before linking with Ally.
