Finally, eBay doing something right for its sellers. Most likely a lost cause though.

It will be devastating to many sellers if for no other reason than the hassle it causes.

I doubt eBay do it for the sellers but itself. More tax means less eBay fees.

Large retail shops are trying their last desperate move before online shopping wipes them and their overpriced products completely.

Sign and share it. Worst timing ever with Trump in office. Won't stop online sales though cause the convenience outweighs the tax and ALL sellers will have to charge it...

You guys are talking as if this is new. Ebay has been the MOST proactive small business movement for close to two decades. They have always fought hard for no internet tax and was a huge help in raising the 1099K to what it is compared to what the lawmakers wanted it to be.

Amazon on the other hand are all for crushing little businesses and increasing taxes and fees, imposing an internet tax etc... They are all about themselves.

Agree with yankee. A decade from now amazon will have taken over the market and pushed off all its small sellers. Ebay has always known where its bread is buttered . Buyers and and their sellers. Amazon has a lot more than just their marketplace
