Linkage through searching patterns?

Would eBay link two different accounts based on how search keywords are put together? For example, if I log into 2 different accounts and at both times I search as follows:

Harry Potter DVD complete set

Would the two accounts be linked based on how I search for items?

No, this aint CSI level stuff they do. The only real linkage they do is when they are 100% sure there is a linkage. AKA same IP, Cookies, address, phone, bank, etc.

Thats why they DON'T even use exact names as linkage. Too many people with same names. Hell even same IP is not used as linkage I don't think. Its really cookies that screw you.

I agree, there is no way eBay is going to link accounts based on your search terms. It doesn't make sense. There are much easier ways to link an account. :p
