Google mail tracking - should you be bothered?
 

If I have 100 different email accounts on Gmail, will Google one day start scratching their head and say: let's get rid of him, he's upto no good?

I don't have 100 accounts (yet). But even let's just say 20 accounts.

One thing wrong I did do was setup in different names and was accessing.
Better to setup in your own name - so no issues in accessing (if there could be an issue that is)

Any thoughts?

That can happen. Its better to spread things out, use other mail providers.

However, its not a big deal. Should something like this happen, you can always sign up to a new mail provider and change the email on the ebay/paypal accounts.

Always keep your phone number active though, as otherwise you could be locked out of your account otherwise.

I have seen it happen if Google is linking these accounts together.. but if they're not linked than you don't have much to worry about

500+ gmails forwarding to one gmail is OK - if in your own name
(actually... maybe not OK!)
i was making accounts in the same name as accounts

all ok now i think - only a few accounts accessed.
so not a big deal.
i suppose it's another hidden rule that isn't that obvious.

I probably have a hundred all forwarding to 1 account, no issues yet.

recent ones, i thought it would be clever to use ebay account names.
i won't be making that mistake again!
