Does anyone know how to get multiple ein numbers for stealth accounts.

You are allowed to apply for 1 EIN every day on the IRS website. The only type of EIN with a limitation is sole proprietor which you can only have one of. Giving the IRS "stealth info" on an EIN application is fraud - don't do that.

You don't get an EIN by forming an LLC. You get an EIN first then form your LLC around it.

You supply the IRS with your Social Security number to get an EIN. Giving them a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ number is a horrendous idea. Could you do it ? sure, BUT what happens 3-5 years down the road and they retrieve your bank account numbers and real SS number? :behindsofa:

Ok not giving the irs false info but giving ebay stealth information with the real ein's.

Is that possible?

You are over complicating it.

This is how it goes:

Sell on stealth account. When required by paypal, upgrade to business, change details to your business details including EIN. When asked for last four of your SS add the last four of your EIN. Continue selling. Get rich. End of story.

1. But I thought the ein is for ebay (not paypal) so they don't limit your account as they predict it might go over 20k and 200 for the year?

2. Will paypal need my real info though and won't paypal know it's me therefore eliminating stealth?

3. Do we have to upgrade ebay to buisness account type.

Don't overthink. EIN is for PP. EB doesn't care.

I read you PM. Im not going to reply. Keep these questions here on the forum.

My suggestion is the get the stealth guide and read it a few times so you get the basics of stealth. Until you get the basics you will only get more confused and frustrated.

Ebay will never ask for your SS....They dont handle money or report to the IRS. That is paypal. The 20K and 200 transactions is an IRS LAW for 3rd party payment processors such as amazon, paypal, square, and all other credit card processors.

Ebay has nothing to do with the IRS because they do not handle any money at all.

I still have a soft limitation. I have added my ein and my pp account is my own info however new address since paypal banned my under married name a good while ago. I understand I can add last 4 of ein for last 4 of ss number but what about birthdate? Would that match me up to my old info as they have sites to look up info on names and addresses and all. I was able to find my own info on such a site with all the past married name and maiden name along with current name. Any advice how to follow through on this.

So why are people saying ebay has asked them for tax information when they predict they will make over 20k and 200 transactions?? Then if they don't provide tax info they get suspended?

If ebay didn't connect with Irs or Paypal to know if tax info is there, why would they ask for tax info and suspend if not provided ?

It's only ebay that I speak of not paypal. I heard of people getting messages by EBAY saying they need to it.

Maybe when I read it, they conflated "ebay" to mean their paypal attached to their ebay was suspended.

Can I just get another paypal if my first paypal gets suspended for predicting to go over 20k? Attach a new paypal to the perfectly fine ebay account.

You have never heard people say this. Never.

PAYPAL handles tax stuff.

This is not confusing stuff. Forget anything tax related you think you know and learn this here now. PAYPAL handles money, not ebay.

Sure. Now once paypal asks for such info, can I just get suspended by paypal and then get another paypal to put into the clean still working ebay account.

So is it possible to have a PP business account without actually owning an LLC and only having an EIN?

From what I read, you only can get one ein as a sole proprietor. An LLC can give you more ein's. :ranger:

Is it a complicated/costly process to set up an LLC? Anyone who's been though this could share any details?

Also, is there a minimal $ balance required to start an LLC?

PS I find searching google with what you want then adding aspkin at the end works much better than using the search option on this forum.

WY and NV are cheap places to create companies. I am in the process of opening a mail forwarding service in WY myself. I like WY over NV but both are excellent choices.
