IF this user is really stealing your titles, descriptions, photos ect why not just block him/her from all your accounts? That should eliminate the issue of them copying you.

What does this even mean? Have I missed the hidden eBay option to "block" someone from looking at my listings, copying them, or such?

Maybe you should look at the users strategy and see if there is something there that could work for you. If this person really has an IN at eBay, more power to them. Wish we all did as we wouldn't be here. Nothing you can do to change that.

You mean I should open multiple accounts and bid on my own items to leave myself feedback, buy ebooks by the hundreds to pad my feedback, and list used items as new to manipulate search and reel in more buyers? Somehow, I don't think that will end well for me.

Btw, if I had an "in" at eBay, I would be the nicest, quietest guy around. I wouldn't abuse it and call attention to myself.

Just remember - if you are openly plotting to remove an Ebay user on an open forum, the person could very well be a member here and may get ahead of your game.

No way he's a member here. The things he does are simply to obvious to imply any knowledge of stealth. He's out in the open with no shame.

It's wrong, how? If he didn't steal my listings and titles and step on my toes, sure, I wouldn't care. But he does those things and I can't even VERO him for that due to fear of retaliation.

He's stealing my stuff, I suppose I should just roll over and die and let him do whatever he wants? Apparently, he doesn't think his dirty bs is wrong. He's one of those don't give up at any cost, keep going no matter what chinese people, btw. Learned that today via alternate means.

He stole my listing's titles at first, killed my sales a bunch, now he moved on to just stealing the descriptions too. And he ends up being at the top of the search results because he lists his used items as new and manipulates best match that way. I found out how he gets around people complaining today, too. He offers partial refunds to complainers and I suspect most people just take it and move on. He has a huge profit margin built in so he can keep doing this bs.

make 5 stealth accounts with their personal details. address, name, etc. copy all their listing, description, photo etc. but take 50% off the price so it all sells and never ship anything. problem solved

Just went through the whole thread. May I ask why you think him playing dirty? You said he bid high, so I guess he sells high. How can that take off your business even with with same or similar descriptions? To be honest, he didn't try to sabotage but you tried to report him and damage his accounts. I think that is a little bit.....low.....Sorry. I'm new here, not sure if there is existing market rules.:shhh::shhh:

He steals my listing titles and descriptions, pads his own feedback by bidding on his own items with other accounts he owns and operates, pads fb with ebooks and digital pictures he buys. Manipulates search and best match. He's no victim, you should see the nasty feedback he leaves for other sellers on his buying account. A real piece of work.

Only problem with removing accounts is he very well just keep creating more accounts. Might be a member on this forum even.

Copying the stuff you sell and buy? Stealing "elements" of your listing titles and descriptions? It sounds like you have competition just as the rest of us do. I can find 10+ sellers right now who are selling the same exact items as I am, whose listing titles and descriptions resemble my own and who have all padded their +feedback to some extent, at one point or another. Sympathy is hardly found in a free market economy. Trying a different approach is the best advice you're going to get.
