IP Adress question
 

So I have a regular account that is working perfectly but I do not log in from home, only on my cell. Here are my questions;

I changed my IP at home but when I use IP burger the public address is the same as it was before. Netgear told me to ignore that and that the dynamic ip was changed by them.

So....is it safe to log in from home?

If not is it safe to use my phone as a hotspot so I can log in from my new, clean pc at home?

and if not is it safe to use PIA VPN.

Hmmm... I personally use a VPN from IPburger. Installed an app for it on all my devices just so I have a dedicated IP.

But for you, if your IP doesn't change at home , it means that it's a static IP.

Just make sure that if you have ebay stealth accounts or multiple accounts in general, you log which accounts used which IP.

OK I really appreciate your answer but I have a follow up...

My IP provider is saying my IP is NOT static. Could it be that the public IP is designated to an area and not just me? Please forgive my ignorance on IPs.

If I want to use my VPN at home on a safe PC does Ebay ban accounts for using a VPN or using a VPN on a phone?

and again is it safe to use my phone as a hotspot ( different provider ) to login from home?
