eBay/PP what laptop info can they see?
 

Hi there,

So I plan to create an exact hard drive clone of my MacBook for when I hire an employee while I travel around. I would like to give her own Laptop so she can do stealth duties every now and then while I can also log on where I am.

Right now I have a 2014 MacBook, i7 Processor.

I will most likely get her one of those cheap refurbished laptops on eBay that have been upgraded. IT will be a 2009 MacBook i5 Processor.

I was wondering what information can eBay / PP see?

Of course we'll be operating with the same OS, and I will have the same cookies, user accounts, etc in her laptop as well

- I was wondering if it would be questioned by eBay/PP if she logs on her 2009 MacBook vs when I log onto my 2014 MacBook?

- Can they see what processor she is using vs what I am using when I log on?

- Or if it would even matter as long as the cookies match?

get her to use the same IP as you. Make sure that the IPburger VPN app is installed.

Login from both computers from the same location once to establish the cookies.

Was going to use Carbon Copy to get an exact clone of my laptop so previous cookies will be copied.

I use a MiFi device and I dont get any problems with that since its all in the same general service area then I renew my IP.

Will this work fine?

Im guessing eBay/PP can only see (or maybe only care about) your OS & IP address to match?

It's more complicated than that, but basically yes.
