USPS tracking not 180 days hehehe
 

Hey ebay sellers,

Check this out. Did you know that USPS only stores tracking info for delivery confirmation numbers about 5 months. A little over 5 months but less than 6 (22 weeks?). So if you ship something Jan 1 and track it May 15 it will show up as invalid tracking number.

Seriously, look back at it and see.

So sell something Jan 1 and may 15 you can say not received with paypal "seller protection", seller will provide tracking, it will show invalid and you will lose the case.

Paypal seller protection. Ha

Thank you for the info! You can try to send information about this issue to paypal and get official reply) But after you post this on forum some guys will use this information in bad way)

You can request delivery confirmations up to a year off UPS, but the tracking does not show after a few months.

So you have to request the info from UPS, have them email it to you and then submit it to PayPal.

Obviously not everyone will realise this, and yes the scammers will utilise this and get freebies.

Scammers as a 'whole' aren't the most patient bunch. Can't see many pulling that trick.
