Account Limit why?
 

So ebay has limited my stealth account as they are saying its linked to another account the thing is the account there saying its linked to ive never heard of??

has anyone had this before??

No. i just use a 3 mobile dongle

Could be you got an IP that was used by that other account although the likelihood is low.
They have somehow linked you that account though. Perhaps the address used? phone number? similar name?

You can try.

When I started out stealth, I managed to link it to mine, and they told mentioned another user id which I didn't recognise. They just weren't willing to budge. I gave up as I knew I couldn't convince them that other account wasn't mine.

Sometimes it's just a generic message doesn't really describe what the true problem is. Contact eb and try and sort it out

It's possible you ended up using a recycled IP for a whole as mobile IP pool is generally smaller.

Nothing has happened until now, until the account you were linked to most likely did something really naughty and eBay just decide to nuke every last trace of it.

Yet the main reason why I don't use mobile IP and I'll either stick to my home IP pool and IPburger dedicated IP .

I did contact them but it was a wast of time. couldnt give me any details and they didnt want to know. said i can still sell and build the account back up?? im now only aloud to sell 10 items.

I'd take that offer, keep the account. Then get a few stealth accounts going at the same time.

That way you still have your original account. Its better than not having it IMO.

I had something similar happen with a stealth account. They restricted it three times over the course of a week saying it was linked to some account I had never heard of. I was able to get it reinstated at first but then a few weeks later they did an indefinite ban. No idea what happened as none of my other accounts were linked. I would probably just burn that account of yours and start a new one if I were you.

It's better to use VPN ,becouse everytime you turn on your dongle IP address is changing.
