Is ebay sales down today for this 4th of July?
 

I usually get 25 orders per day, sometimes more. Today i only got 2 and it's 7:03 pm. I checked all my listings, they're all still pretty high up there in the rankings. Man, this sucks, i hope it doesn't go into tomorrow like this.

I did pretty good. Auctions did surprisingly well. It is the beginning of my busy season so I am sure that is most of it.

Typical, for a holiday of this level. If your items are not targeting Summer or recreation, then I would easily suspect a drop. We all feel it.

I saw a slight dip I attribute to the fact its the 4th of July but nothing as drastic as OP described.
Now that the holiday is over let us know if things are back to normal at the end of the day.

eBay is facing a lot of problems. One of my drop shipping accounts was probably flagged and I saw my sales come to a complete stop. If you guys check eBays forums you will see a lot of of sellers complaining about sales being dramatically down. It could also be that finally eCommerce has reached saturation level (like I predicted many years ago). Everyone is selling online these days. competition is at all times high and also buying online was just a fad. Yes people will continue to buy online but going to a physical store is still a social experience people won’t give up yet.

My sales just went back to normal, was just surprised so many people were willing to throw a party on Jul 4th.

Sales doubled day before the 4th. Regular day 4th. Holiday hype.
