My point exactly ,if it is your product than and someone else is manufcturing it with your permission and they contact ebay it will usually solve the problem ..I found this site and Tabberones due to fighting with Vero memebers on legit items so i understand how unfair ebay can be .I dont blame Ebay as much as i do copyrights owners such as sports-music and movie stars allowing presidents of fan clubs to have their vero rights just because they will do it for free and they have no clue what they are doing ....Apparell and clothing rights owners to allow Cyber Cops or Law Firms who let interns control Vero for them because they know they can do whatver they want when pulling listings without any Fear of making a mistakes becaus ethey are the judge and jury .

What I was illustrating is that I was accused of copying manufacturer photos. My damned photos for my product. I am the manufacturer. I let IBM, CompUSA, MicroSoft, and several other companies use my text and my photos. Just because somebody else puts them on HUGE websites around the world, doesn't mean the images and the product are not mine.

No company complained to ebay about my listing. Somebody at ebay took it upon themselves, and misinterpreted what they found. An overzealous phuh kwad created an issue that wasted a lot of time for a lot of people, based on the substandard IQ and malicious motivations of an ebay monkey.

I'm sure most of the time, your statement in #39 is true, sometimes it is not. Assumptions should not be made - based on what you see ebay do. They are wrong quite often.

I was accused of using manufacturer photos. The product WAS mine. Which is opposite what you allege (in general, not in re: me specifically) in post #39.

Not trying to provoke you or accuse. Just illustrating for you and everyone else, that the problem experienced by the one guy and his pics... he very well could be the owner.

I tend to side with the people here, due to my experiences with ebay and et al. I'm going to concentrate on helping solve this man's problem, not shoot holes in it.

Vic, I would be more than happy to help also but i dont really have a clue due to the facts that were given and he said he owned photos not the product from what i understood ,,, it could be something similar that happened to me with my photos or it could be similar to vicvelcro which i dont have any past experience on asi dont own the rights to anything being produced... but if you are the rights owner you should join vero so you can try to control your product ......Trust me i give all the advice i can for free for people doing the right thing especially... Below i will share some tip from myself, one of my huge suppliers and a ebay rep .

1.Take the first 4-7 days of the new year off ie pull your listings - that is when vero and ebay bots try and start the year off with a bang .
2. if your selling anything like jerseys, purses , designer clothes etc for less than what a department store pays for it from the manufacture/rights owner you are eventually going down ....the funny thing is i know a couple of sellers who sell '''bad overseas'' stuff for almost retail about (70-80%) and have been going on for 4-6 years now -not saying they will not go down but selling at a close to retail price makes them look better and has kept the heat off , they dont sell as much but there profit margins are crazy.
3.If you are living on the dark side as everyone says have backup accounts ready .
4.Eventually spend a little time and money to try and find things to sell that will be less likely to get veroed , that is what i did couldnt take the stress and knots in my stomach anymore.
5.Also try to think positive all the negative stuff and complaining about ebay is not going to change anything so just figure out a way to beat them, at least for awhile lol
6.If you are going to sell Vero look around on ebay there is alot of good deals on pain relievers - your gonna need them (a joke but all so true) .

Good Luck to everyone!

The product, the photo shown in the listing, the box art, the screenshot, the software code, the license keys, the publisher is hired by me, and Tiger Direct has to have MY permission to sell it. The written contract is ME allowing THEM to make a buck off MY goodies.

In the section for Detailed Features of the product, squint real close at the screenshot. Whoodat Dere?

I listed that on ebay, and they tell me I stole the images from Tiger Direct. Uh, no I did not. I got pissed off and contacted Tiger Direct. They knew nothing about the issue at all, and got all down ebay's back about dragging their name into it. They backed me up during my issue with ebay. There is nothing absolutely nothing about that product that I did not do with my very own hands and brain. The listing as seen on Tiger Direct was made by me, as part of the contract agreement (I retain full control of marketing text and images). I have all the legal paperwork for every facet and angle. ebay never even said 'oops'.

ebay is full of pschit more often than not.

Here's the link again without it being anchored to text: M4 LOGON KEY M4LK001WM at TigerDirect.com
