Re: Ebay Facebook ad on stealth

At some stage there must have been an overlap.

You said you used your stealth account on a windows user. Then you mentioned you logged into your facebook via your phone.

I would presume your phone was connected to the same internet as the stealth user, thus at that specific moment in time, it shared the same IP. Hence why you're seeing such ads.

My advice is to always isolate stealth accounts, such that they are the only device using that IP at that specific time. Disconnecting all your devices from the internet will be a hassle each time, so find a workaround such that each account always has its own IP. You could use a VPN (IPBurger) dedicated to that account, or you can even use a data dongle (USB) such that the computer is the only one with that IP and its not also being used on your other devices.

I am actually using a vpn for the account from ip burger. It is a new windows user account i made specifically for the stealth account and have never logged into facebook on that user before. The ad that was seen was on my personal phone that is not associated with the stealth account except for using google mail , with images blocked

Have you thoroughly tested your VPN to ensure IP isn't leaking? its not dropping off? killswitch in place?

This may just be a coincidence, but I doubt that. Somewhere, something must have overlapped.

I cant think of anything else. But i'm sure it was no coincidence. Something somewhere must have leaked for a different device to know you've browsed a specific product on ebay.

Perhaps you logged into facebook on your stealth account once before?, check your browsing history to see if there is any facebook links.

I tried few methods to create new FB account, but it always asks to upload my pic. After I upload any other pic they bann the account.

Can anyone explain me how to create a new FB account without uploading my pic.
Or even by using any other pic..

Yes, so rest assured it works just as well as the stealth guide. :)

I heard that IP burger and 24vc buy their IPs from the same source and that in actuality the cost for each IP is extremely cheap.

The IP's are from a private datacenter source. They are verified ranges that are proven not to be blacklisted by EB/PP. You can buy cheap proxies, but chances are thait at some point in time there were ab(used) on another account(s). It's like playing russian roulette with IP addresses. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

They may be cheap, but bare in mind you're not just paying for the IP, you're paying for a team to support you should you run into any issues, as well as team constantly monitoring the service to ensure it's always up and running. In essence you're paying for a quality service, and I think most would agree, you get just that.

I'd rather that, then have to deal with technical issues when they arise. I'd much rather use the time to focus on my eBay sales. :)
