Major Shilling Suspected - Help

Ok guys I've been involved in auctions with an individual (seller) and he seems like a great guy, fast shipping, well packaged etc. I just noticed recently another bidder that's involved in most of auctions bids within the last hour usually a time or two but never wins (but has opportunities to when he knows he's bid the high bidder to his max) Said bidder has 100% bids with the seller something like 1700 bids on 700 items (ballpark numbers) and his feedback is less than 60. Is there a way to see the bidders actual feedback or contacting that bidder with the only known information being the abbreviated information eBay provides.

I don't want to engage the seller just yet, until i have more information. Any ideas or suggerstions?

It's not at all uncommon to see the same bidders bidding like this on a given sellers listings. Hard to prove it's a shill. In fact, I myself have a list of favorite sellers and will bid on their items even if I don't win them, as I have a set amount in mind.

Have you simply thought about spreading your buys out instead of just trying to engage this one seller?

Exactly what do you want to do? do you want to tell the seller that you know they are shill bidding? you want to snitch on the seller, shill bidder?

Exactly as MM78 said.

Who likes a rat? Do you want to be THAT GUY?

Focus your attention and energy into making money instead of worrying about what other people are doing.

I disagree. Shill bidding is necessary on eBay now. eBay will hide listings, exclude them from searches so you can list your nice iPhone for $0.99 no reserve 1 day auction and maybe ebay won't put it in the search for 16 hours.

Know what you are buying and don't bid more than you plan to pay but if you are listing an item no reserve on ebay you almost have to shill bid on it. Not to rip off people but to put a reserve on the item.

Another bonus you can pay yourself so if paypal limits your account you can refund yourself.
