Long holds before getting a rep?
 

It seems like last month, the waiting hold to get an ebay rep on the phone seems to take forever. I use 3 phones to dial at the same time. After 10 to 30 minutes I hang up and start over again. Anyone else having this problem? No matter what dept you try it's the same. At times I'll hang up and try another dept and get someone quicker within 2 minutes.

Am I the only one here with this?

its normal. Ebay is a company that deals with many issues. As you said, it depends on the department. it takes a rep a lot longer to sort out account issues.

Also take that into consideration that of most reps do not understand their companies own policies and you get a backlog of sellers and buyers talking to monkeys.

log into your resolution center and see if you have a small chat box on the right hand side. After chatting, I would never call again but not all account have it. Most dont actually.

Oh I know about that talking to monkeys part. I had reported weed once being sold on ebay and the rep goes to me "So what's wrong with this item?" and I said "are you kidding me don't you know what this is?" and he goes "yes it's 5 grams of kush 18% THC" lol. I died! :clap::clap::hail::hail::pop2:

But yeah until last month any department I would get for years would take 3 minutes or less. Now it's like 20 to 40 minutes even more at times.

I had no clue they got the chat box back? I know I did years ago maybe like 7+ yrs ago. I'll try to see for this one.

Passcode thing seems to be working within 1 minute way better then the other way. I couldn't find a chat on 10 accounts. I guess not all have it.

No. I seen it online when looking up dish washing soap. Under "items others who buy this as well". Like what a combination? I know amazon is very good but come on!
