Changing Email Addresses
 

I took over an account but I didn't get the email address associated with it. Is it safe to change the email address on ebay? I only need it so I can forward it and get notifications thru the email on my phone so I'm not logging in and checking all the time. Or is there another way to get notifications?

Probably better to add a new email and make it the primary and let it season for a bit first.

I don't recall, though, I think you have to do some verification to make any of those changes, either by phone or via email.

Somebody else will come along and clarify this, I'm sure.

i've changed my email previousely on ebay account , probably it won't be a problem .

What steps did you take when changing your email address? Did you add a new primary and wait to delete the old email? Thanks in advance!

You can change the email. Just make sure you have access to the phone no. as you may be required to do so an sms verification.
