Not that I've noticed. It's more likely a random request triggered by your sales volume and/or selling category. Phake auto parts are a billion dollar industry and they're dangerous so it's not unheard of for eBay to request invoices from sellers in the auto parts category.

Can you think of any customers that were turds? Or maybe a paypal problem?
Was there any MC notice with this request ?
From experience, ebay/paypal always have a reason but the seller may not be aware.

They clearly they have concerns (justified or not) over the items you are selling, hence the request for these.

feed back is 100% sales steady, no problems on any items sold, others in motor trade advertising on e bay have similar, 6 others i know so far, they not any connection to me, just fellow traders.
no mc notice, just a SR notice, what ever that means, no customer problems no pay pal problems, makes it impossible to figure out why, i know there must be a reason, but my crystal ball out of orders am in process of getting docs they requested, but even then you can not be sure with e bay, in dublin next week and might pop into their headquarters,but won't hold my breath.
