Any large eBay tech sellers who use their own CC merchants?
 

Hi, I was banned from paypal for something outside of ebay. I'm still fine on ebay, but I need to buy stuff and all the Buy It Now things say "credit cards processed by paypal". When I try to buy things, it says "We cannot process your payment at this time" or something to that effect. I know paypal is blocking me because if I use other people's credit cards it goes through fine, but all 4 CC's with my name fail 100%.

Does anyone actually know of any ebay sellers like this, who carry a good variety of computer equipment like laptops, iphones, etc? I have to buy things for new hires at my job. The obvious ones I tried like Newegg and Officialbestbuy use Paypal as well.

They're saying in the news that ebay will start using Apple Pay soon... I can't wait to be rid of paypal. In the mean time though there's still things I need to buy! Any ideas? Any way to search up people who don't use paypal, or find a list?

I use a merchant account on eBay, but I doubt I'm selling what you're looking for. There may be 10 merchants on all of eBay using a merchant account instead of PP.

I use different CC merchants, just not on eBay. Tempted to try one on there, but have no reason to yet.

However, for your buying things online, you could buy VISA giftcards, and pay with them. You can change the billing address online, so its not your personal address, and have the items shipped to a PO Box.

Just wanted to throw it out there that if you do decide to start accepting direct CC payments on eBay you should definitely leave Paypal as an option for your buyers to use. I wouldn't wait until you have a reason because that would mean you've lost your Paypal account, right? Having a merchant account as the only payment option on your eBay account is about the worst thing you can do to an eBay account, short of having your account suspended.
