eBay buyer protection - how much?
 

I know eBay buyer protection covers buyers for returns, INRs, stuff like that. But whats the $ limit on these transactions? Is it $750? (or that the threshold beyond which eBay requires sellers to get signature releases for their shipments - I may be confusing my numbers here)

I tried looking on eBay FAQs but didn't see any answers for this. But I assume there has to be some limit, no?

There is no limit. Whatever amount you pay for an item via the ebay gateway is what you are covered for. For instance you buy a car $500 down you pay $2500 in cash only $500 is covered. You paid via your own platform. If you bought a $350,000 painting and it was a switcheroo you are covered.

$750 and up is a different review department called high value claims. Longer process for cases, which as a seller I like. But yeah, no limit to the dollar amount. Whatever you paid is covered
