I have read all the guidance, but also see people having 50/$500 selling limits.

High quality account information helps. I usually get 10/1000 on my accounts, and sometimes 50/2500

Read-Read-Read everything you possibly can on the forum.

Then: Trial & Error and practice would be your next step. Just depends on how bad you want to learn it. Making a random thread isn't going to be of much help.

If you want to speed up the process, by an account from a random account seller here and reverse engineer it.

We get these posts at least twice a month, I've been here for over 10 years so yours makes about the 240th one I've seen.

Anyone making higher selling limit accounts is unlikely to just give up that info - trial and error (as suggested) is one way to go or listen to rest of TGMT squared's advice.

As others have said, trial & error is the best way to see what gives you the best results, it can vary and there are many ways to do it

Don't listen to these guys. They haven't got a clue.

All you have to do is wear a tin foil hat whilst making the account. Guaranteed high limits.

Oh and don't forget you must only type with your thumbs whilst creating the accounts.

Trial and error is best way. It can end up taking ages so question is, is it worth spending so much time figuring it out?

One key reason why nobody will answer this question is because the methods end up getting patched if they are known to get abused. I've seen this happen a few times, especially with the super super high limit accounts you get.

Well, so far, you have given a few good hints. And, I have read, and read and read. I am very much learning. I did not realize this was a random thread. Basic question, a few tid bits might be a good answer.

Done that. Twice, as a matter of fact. I am not so much interested in reverse engineering it, or grabbing someone's IP. I am genuinely curious what one new account would have a low limit, and another a high limit. Some here with low limits complain that they cannot get past that.

I have been a legitimate eBay'er for probably longer than anyone on this forum. Just a guess. I started with eBay before anyone knew who and what eBay was. I know how they work, from a standpoint of granting additional listing "rights." What I don't get, is why a new stealther would be stuck at $500 monthly listing limit, and thus the question.

Well good for you, Mr. Administrator. You might want to take the time to think the glass is half-full and pat yourself on the back for attracting 240 interested people who want to learn. If you are tired of sharing, go do something else, where you don't have to deal with idiots like me.

Yes, I also bought the book, so I can go read, but I am interested in other views than just the author.

As for getting "stuck" at $500, never happens. Every $500 account I create can easily sell $1,000,000 the first year. It is all in how someone operates.

Not sure of which part you didn't get.
Noone is going to share that sort of info with you and it has nothing to do with being cynical. That information is worth money to a lot of people and youre asking to get that information like its nothing.
Not going to happen and like yankee said - better stow that attitude away.
As for increasing the limits on a new account with 5/500 limits - sell to the limit and do everything properly - tracking, good service etc - and youll see those limits go up. Noone can tell you anything more specific than that.
