Ebay wants ID, what to do?
 

So ebay wants an ID. The only address associated with this stealth ebay/paypal is a business address.

Im assuming they want address to match what is existing on the accounts, but its a business, not a home or apt or anything.

So should I just provide the business address on the ID? or use another real home address on the ID?

then I explain to them that the currrent address on my account is a business only, not my home?
I know they are picky that address must match, but not sure what to do in this situation.

but should I use the address from my ebay account even though its only a business address? its an auto parts store random Existing business address.

I guess If they ask I could say I live at my business... but i doubt they check that hard?

I was thinking of creating a new home address and adding it to the account and use that on the ID...

is that a bad idea?, as its not the original address used to create the acount.

I thought they may get weird about a "business" address on an ID rather than an actual home address.
if they google it they will see its an auto parts store.

Do you guys think its better to provide a passport or US Drivers license to remove an Ebay restriction?

A passport would not have a address on so it would solve this particular problem.

Drivers License is much better.

i did not provide the ID yet, but they are also asking for a utility bill for proof of address. so it would solve the address problem.
I was told they only verify that the address is real, and do not really look further. but I doubt that, I think they can search it and see its a business address

but then many people do live at their business.. so maybe they would not think its so weird?

I have used passport in the past successfully to restore Ebay and paypal both.

There is nothing you can do except for providing your real ID or getting creative as they say :-)
