Ebay Home Page Promotion /

i see on ebay listing promotions ,they say to show listing on home page seller must meet some criteria one of them seller level must be "Above Standard" or better ...but i see on ebay home page a seller with negative score " he is new seller with only one selling transaction ,got negative feedback " but his item appear on ebay home page .... any one explain how ? thanks

You're saying a seller with "-1 0%" feedback has an item prominently displayed on the eBay home splash page? Do you have a link? Those spots are usually only given to super experienced high volume sellers.

My guess would be that eBay is trying really hard to populate their new "catalog" and they're still working on the filters that determine which sellers show up there.

Really crazy to see that.

the feedback is very old and probably because he has so many items listed and items sold to push up his listings/rankings

Even more weird given that listing has only sold 3 times. His got last one in stock, maybe eBay just want him to sell and get lost :lol:
