ebay not accepting vanilla gift card for payment

It used to work. Tonight, I tried paying fees with VGC and no luck. Tried with 3 VGCs . Even tried with prepaid Amer express. None will work.

Trying to get off the paypal auto pay coming up in a couple days.

Any help would be great.

VGC = Vanilla Gift Card

I've also noticed that eBay no longer accepts both Greendot or NetSpend cards as of last month. I used to be able to use them to pay my fees, not anymore.

The Vanilla cards used to work fine, but I have not tried in the past month.

Could be they're tired of trying to charge empty prepaid cards which users put on as a backup payment source.

Just use your debit card OP.
