Same return addresses for multiple accounts?
 

Is it a stoopid idea to have multiple return addresses for different accounts?

DOH! What a giveaway and great way to connect accounts???
I was guessing + hoping that ebay didn't use the return addresses and connect.
Is that wishful thinking?

I asked it wrongly.
I was trying to ask if OK to have ONE return address for multiple accounts?

Let's say I have 10 accounts. Can I have ONE return address for all.
Or is that just being super dumb?
Do ebay look at return addresses and use this as a connecting factor that they look at?

You guys crack me up with the unwarranted fearmongering. Sometimes it feels like the wrong advice is purposely given in order to protect secrets. :pout:

It's honestly never caused any problems for me and I have a variation of the same return address on all 3 of my business accounts. (I know, I'm living on the edge. haha. :P )

This is another account detail which thanks to dropshippers isn't really used to link accounts. Tons of sellers have the same UPS store address as a return address. Tons have Amazon FBA warehouses.

Well I use a Royal Mail PO BOX for just over 20 accounts I change the top line of the address so that it corresponds to each individual account but keep the same P.O. BOX address for example;

1. eBay Account 1
P.O. BOX 7943
London
SW7 4DA
2. Ebay Account 2
P.O. BOX 7943
London
SW7 4DA

and so on I’ve been doing this coming upto a year now and haven’t had any issues so far but you never know they may link accounts with this but I’ll take the risk at the moment as eBay will start to implement the automatic returns process soon.

It is fine to do so. I use the above way and sometimes if you want to do a home address you can do like 113 main street or 123 main st. They do not register as the same.

As an alternative enclose a return address in the parcel that you don't have to register on Ebay at all

The key word being "Variation". OP, you can be creative and vary the addresses but keep in mind that a manual review could cause issues.

How are you printing the labels? If you can change the return address then just do that. Or provide a packing slip with the correct return address and if they need to return just use that one.
