I have sold my first item on eBay for 450GBP the buyer agrees to pay the amount tommorow. My question is would the fund be placed on hold ? My PayPal is verified and linked to mine eBay account and would it affect me sending the item as I told the buyer that I will only ship the goods once the payment has been cleared.
Regards |

I cannot see the buyer being happy about having to wait for the funds to clear before you send out the item though |

If the buyer start complaining about delay and I showed eBay the message the buyer agrees for the fund to be cleared before I sending them the good would eBay still suspend my account ? |

Regards | Buyer see his payment cleared instantly or within 1 to 2 days ( depend on the source of fund ). He won't know and won't care the 21-day holding in your side. So it won't work the way you thought. If buyer open the dispute, the buyer win the case definitely. |

eBay are not going to remove the holds even if the buyer agrees. Just post the item like normal and then get the funds released a few days later |

| JamesNorth101 | 09-07-2018 04:59 PM | Re: eBay question Make sure you are 100% sure your item is real
If they claim it’s ⊗⊗⊗⊗ have them return the item and then refund |
| mmartin9999 | 09-07-2018 08:29 PM | Re: eBay question Holds are the problem of the seller.
I would not buy from a seller who will wait 21 days before shipping. As a buyer, those safegaurds are in place to protect me from scamming sellers.
Of course I don't like them as a seller, but understand why they are there. |

| branesergen | 09-08-2018 01:55 AM | Re: eBay question If you ship promptly and correctly the holds are usually released a few days after delivery here. My 21 day holds are generally 7-10 days.
A counterfeit item can ALWAYS be returned regardless if you accept it or not. An item not as described trumps any return policy you may have. |

Damn I'm selling superme btw | This kind of buyer scam is relatively rare. Most buyers won't go through the trouble of buying a real item from an eBay seller and then returning a f-ake item.
You're selling a designer brand (Supreme) from China. Are you sure your products are real? :noidea: |

You're selling a designer brand (Supreme) from China. Are you sure your products are real? :noidea: | Are u being naive just because I put my country as china if that's the case you need to grow up and take a close a look at who's buying bulks of limit edition designer brand and resell it.
I'm Chinese but I don't find it funny when u assuming me selling f-akes just by seeing my country flag furthermore I purchase my product from legitment consignment store around the world and resell it for a profit value. |
| phaz0rz | 09-08-2018 09:50 AM | Re: eBay question Ok. Get mad if you want. I gave you an honest opinion of your situation.
The fact of the matter is that 99% of the phakes in the world are coming out of China. You're selling a designer brand from China which means there's a very high chance your buyer will be skeptical about the authenticity of what they receive even if you ship 100% legit merchandise.
I need to grow up and looks at who's buying bulk from China? I am one of those bulk buyers and I know exactly what goes on in China. Admittedly I probably still have some growing up to do.
Just be careful. You will probably have some kind of problem with the transaction since you're shipping an expensive order of designer merchandise from China. |

I haven't said anything of buying bulks from china in fact I said buying bulk from retail store and resell it for a profit.
The shipping is coming U.K. and I'm a resident there, you can never guess what people do to gain advantages. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:24 PM. | |
