Ebay removed my account
 

I was selling on ebay in the early 2000s until 2014 or so. I did not sell on ebay for the last few years because of my job. Signed into or tried to sign into my ebay account and it said no longer registered user.

They asked me to make a new account. I did and they gave me limits when I did not have them before. They gave me 5 items I can list. I listed 5 items and in 2 days they removed them and asked me to call them.

I know I need to call them but what should I say, hey I have not sold for a while and have boxes of items to sell and 5 items a month dont work?

What should I expect? Thank you.

That did not go well. I called them and they told me I was a risk to the community. What a joke. I listed 5 items, I had 500 feedback from previous sales and I am a risk. She asked if I had a family member selling on ebay, asked if those pictures were mine, asked if I plan on selling on other platforms.

She said the appeal was denied and I would never be allowed to sell on ebay.

WTH ebay, all positives and I am a risk.

I googled what to do about old accounts like mine when they give you 5 items to sell and found this page.

Reading I see most sell on the stealth account system. I guess I will have to do the same since they consider a real long time seller a risk.

Do you suggest I have multiple stealth accounts?
How do I cash out as my bank wont allow mismatch names that I read here you need a bank that allows this. Banks that do?

Or I read some withdraw to a debit card, which debit card?

I read here the 200 items limit before 1099 is sent, is this why most of you sell on multiple accounts? or do you get the ein number for all your accounts?

If you get an EIN you don't have to worry about the 1099. But yes thats why most people use multiple accounts. That and any account can get shut down at any time so good to have a couple healthy if you never wanna be down from selling. ALL your questions are answered in the Stealth guide which pretty soon people will flood this thread to tell you to just buy it. You will need a bank that allows mismatch names for sure. As soon as you didn't sell for a few years, you lost all credibility with ebay. Not saying you did anything wrong, that's just the stupid way they view it.

Thank you. I made a stealth today and got only 5 items and 500 a month to sell. Did I do something wrong. Now to figure out which banks allow deposits. From reading Wells Fargo works. Thank you for the reply.

I dont need to buy a vba for a stealth, just vcc?

Wells Fargo works great, I have 4 so far but I've been with them for years.

VCC will confirm the account but you need a real bank account to verify and WITHDRAW money to.

Only wells fargo so far I might try. My personal bank wont allow mismatch name so I am trying to learn which ones.
