T-Mobile - IP issues

I just changed my phone service from ATTTTTT to T-Mobile. IPs do not change when I switch to airplane mode. The IP on the phone says changes, but my IP from the browser remains the same. Which IP do I believe?

You believe the IP your browser shows. It might be changing your local IP on T-Mobile's network but not your public facing IP.

And just to make sure, you are keeping a record of the IPs being used on which accounts, yes?
