Most efficient schedule
 

Hi!

I have read the "Stealth Book" and will read it one more time to make sure I don't miss anything pertinent.

One thing I do wonder and would love advice on, is the way to schedule listings when creating your own account? I know it's best to start with low risk items, but I get confused with the time frame when listing?

Say I were given (to start) a 5/500 account, how would i go about listing those 5 items in order to maximize my chances at a selling limit increase?

I hope this isn't too confusing, and would greatly appreciate any feedback or advice! I am super new to this and want to be successful! :)

LImit increases occur organically when you max out your monthly limits and you are good with shipping, CS and getting positive feedback.

I don't think it has anything to do with timing.

Just make sure you're maxing out your selling limit each month (by listing to your limit - your don't have to necessarily sell to your limit) and staying on top of customer service and they will start bumping you up after the first month or two.

When you make your listings during the month doesn't matter. You could make all 5 on the first day of the month, or you could make 1 listing per week and 2 listings on the last week of the month, and your chances of getting an automatic limit increase would be the same.

At the end of the day they want you to sell more. You've just got to show them you know what you're doing and that you have a need for a higher limit.

Hit the selling limits and sooner or later you will get an increase

You could also give eBay a quick ring and they may then also give you a slight limit increase on the spot :)
